How to Find Your TIN (Tax Identification Number) in Malaysia [LHDN]

If you’re filing taxes, registering a business, or applying for certain financial services, one of the most important numbers you’ll need is your TIN (Tax Identification Number). In Malaysia, this is often called your Income Tax Number and it is issued by Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN), also known as the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia.

But what if you don’t know your TIN, or you’ve misplaced it? Don’t worry — here’s a simple guide on how to find your TIN in Malaysia.

Step 1: Log in https://mytax.hasil.gov.my/


Step 2: Log in using your ic number


Step 3: Click TIN SEARCH at right corner


Step 4: Key in details

If you still can't retrieve the TIN number.

If you cannot find your TIN online, you can contact LHDN in these ways:

  • Call: LHDN Care Line (1-800-88-5436 or +603-8911 1000)

  • Email: via LHDN feedback form

  • Visit: Any LHDN branch with your MyKad for verification

They will be able to retrieve your TIN for you.
